Products to splurge|not to splurge on

Even if my beauty items collection mostly consists of high end products, I have to admit that most of the time we only pay for the packaging, and not for their actual quality.

So I have created my top 5 products to splurge on and top 5 products not worth splurging on.

Products worth splurging on:
 1. The first one has to be foundation. The formula of high end foundations is much better. Their finish is flawless and overall I like them way better then the drugstore options. I will always splurge on a good foundation.
2. Shampoo is my second choice. A good shampoo will change your hairdays. As I already mentioned in my Alterna shampoos review, they are my favorite brand, even if they are quite expensive they really do worth it.
3. Skincare products in general worth spending money on. Skincare is very important to me, so I believe in the hype on some high end products.
4. Eyeshadows worth spending for aswell. The quality, the formula is just better of the expensive ones.
5. Eyebrow products are my last choice for this category. I haven't find so far a good drugstore alternative that is as good as the Anastasia ones, in conclusion eyebrow products are my fifth choice that worth spending on.

Products that are better from the drugstore:
1. Hair conditioners are one of those products that I don't splurge on. The reason is that I don't have the patiente to leave it on the hair for a couple of minutes, therefore I wash it off right after I applied it on my hair. For me they are just a detangler product. For conditioning and nourishing my hair  I use my trsuted hair masks and hairoils.
2. Nail polishes definitely don't worth splurging on. The color range and the formula of drugstore nail polish brands is the best. Opi, Essie have some really good nail polish formulas and colors.
3. Lipsticks are one of those products that if they are an expensive one you only pay for the packaging, most of the time. So I would say, if you really like high end lipsticks splurge maybe on one or two, but there is no need to have only high end lipsticks.
4. Eye pencils are such a basic products ( liners *lip liners* in general)I don't find any difference between high end or drugstore ones, so why splurge on them?
5. Mascaras are my last choice for this category. I have tried Ysl, Armani, Chanel, Lancome etc. mascaras, but the only two mascaras that I have repurchased over and over again are from Maybelline and Yves Rocher. So that says a lot. No need splurging on mascaras.

Do you agree with me? What do you splurge on|what do you save on?
