Wow that is a mouthful! I got this moisturizer a while back because I had a voucher at my local cosmetics store, it seemed an interesting product to me, and because Estee Lauder is really good in her skincare I thought I give it a go.

Used up beauty products

I've used up quite a lot of products in the last few weeks.There are some face, body and haircare bits.
Some of them I will repurchase, and others I will not. Let's see what goes in my bin:

                                                  

   

Hair

Batiste Dry shampoo: I will be repurchasing this because I can't live without it. It is my favorite dry shampoo brand for sure.
Sebastian Potion 9 styling treatment: this product lasted me for at lest two years with weekly use.This is a gel styling treatment,that transforms into an oil once you warm it up in the palm of your hand, which is the way I recommend using it.  I really enjoyed using this product, it worked great in conjunction with the Moroccanoil hair treatment or with the Oribe Gold Lust nourishing hair oil. For now, I will not repurchase this, because I want to try out some other hair treatments, but it is a good product, and I do recommend it.
Living Proof restore mask treatment: I didn't like this product,it took me a good year to finish it up.I will not repurchase.
Redken hair cleansing cream shampoo: i used this shampoo every other time I washed my hair, to get rid of the build up on the hair and scalp. It did a decent job, but I will not repurchase it.

Skin

The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil: this is a really good makeup remover oil. It has a very pleasent, relaxing scent, and removes makeup effortlessly, but the packaging is awful.The oil is leaking on the sides and makes an oily mess around itself. Will not repurchase.
Bioderma Purifying cleansing foaming gel: I use this with my Clarisonic and I find it to be the best product for that purpose. I have a back up of this product already.
REN 3 in 1 cleansing water: I don't like this product, it doesn't remove the makeup, and I also don't like the scent of it. I used it on days I didn't wear any makeup, just to wipe of the dirt at the end of the day from the skin.

Body

Aromatheraphy Associates Revive Morning bath and shower oil: this was a gift with purchase, and although I enjoyed using it and it can really help you to wake up and feel energized in the morning, I don't think I will purchase this any time soon.

Lastly, the L'occitane Almond shower oil is a body product I will deffinitely repurchase, and in the bigger size.Lovely product to use at the end of the day, the scent is really pleasent, and the product is really hydrating and feels nice on the skin.

Recent favorite makeup products

I don't do monthly favorites just because I feel like I don't have that many new products to share every single month, so I rather share them once in a while in a Recent favorites post. This way the products I am sharing are truly the ones I wear over and over again, and deserve to be featured on my blog.

Although I have oily combination skin, during winter time my skin gets so dry and flacky, that my usual foundations such as the Estee Lauder Double Wear, and the ByTerry Cover Expert don't provide enough hydration and care for my skin throughout the day.

Affordable but good quality nail polish is quite hard to find but Maybelline get's it right in that department.

I got this perfume as a Christmas gift, but it wasn't a surprise or unknown scent for me, as it was already on my wishlist.

This product was sent to me as a gift with purchase from Feelunique, probably my favorite site to shop for beauty products. It retails for 30£, which I think it's a pretty crazy price to pay for a lip balm/treatment.

Budget Buy: Aussie Repair Miracle Shampoo

I am very faithful to Sulfate and Paraben free shampoos. They are the best and  healthiest choice in therms of shampoos, and you can see a huge difference in your hair once you start using products withouth these harmful ingredients..

Because this post is so short I thought I share with you an outfit I wore these days. I am taking advantage of the Sunny days, while they last, so I wore a black leather jacket with a giant HM scarf from last years collection. This look is simple, yet it has some intersting details such as my new boots. I love animal printed shoes/boots in this case, or even clothing items, it might be because otherwise my taste for clothing would be quite boring for some of you, basically consisting of black, camel, or grey colored clothing most of the time.

I was already familiar with the brand and previously tried a couple of their products, so it wasn't all new to me. Because I enjoyed using their products in the past I was curious about some of their new-ish releases. Or new to me because I don't have a KIKO store next to me.

Affordable Nude Lip Combination

The Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet  lipstick collection has been around for quite a while now and I think we have to agree that the colors, the formula and the price of these is amazing. They are creamy, light textured, opaque, and long lasting. They feel really comfortable on the lips all throughout the day.

This is the second serum type foundation that I try.I have previously tried the Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion foundation and I wasn't a big fan of it. The formula was too sheer for my liking.But this is another story.

Budget Buy |Nubian Heritage African Black Soap

I initially bought this soap because it promisses to help with oily- problematic skin and also with eczema. So I figured I will be using this in the morning, as my morning face wash, but I didn't liked it, it didn't really do anything that it promisses. So I just forgot about it and I 'd put it away in my medical cabinet.

My cleansing routine

Taking the makeup off and cleansing your skin thoughrily must be a step you should never skip. I make sure I never go to sleep with my makeup on.Never. I have quite a  problematic skin, so I made a RULE to I take those extra minutes and cleanse my face.

I am not a big toner or cleansing water user, but every once and awhile I do use them, and it's  just a simple product that comes in handy.

Concealer Routine

I never use to have dark circles problems, but since I started working, waking up at 6 o'clock 5 times a week,  I can now sadly say that I now suffer from puffy eyes and dark circles. I admit it is not easy to get rid of dark circles, but I think I found the perfect products for that.
